There are a few possible reasons why People at Home is not updating or you are not receiving alerts when people arrive or leave your home:
- The primary device assigned to the person was left at home. Ensure you always assign primary devices that will almost always be kept on the person like their mobile phone or Wi-Fi smartwatch.
- The primary device may have been turned off or the Wi-Fi was turned off. Also, keep this in mind for devices that have been turned back on long after the person has arrived back home.
- If you leave old Wi-Fi on after installing Plume, the person's device may connect to it instead. Always turn off the Wi-Fi on your old router after setting up Plume.
- Random Mac Addresses are being used for primary devices. This means that every time the device connects using a different MAC, it will no longer be assigned to a person.
