Please follow the instructions below to turn off Wi-Fi on your Technicolor TC7230 modem or router:
Step 1: Open your Internet browser and type the IP address of the router in the address bar. The default IP address is 192.168.0.1. After connecting to the device, you will be prompted to enter username and password. By default, the username is "" (empty) and the password is "admin".
Step 2: Click on the Wireless tab at the top menu and then click Wi-Fi 2.4G on the left side pan. Click on the Interface drop down menu and select "disabled".
Step 3: Click Apply button to save settings.
Step 4: Click on the Wireless tab at the top menu and then click Wi-Fi 5G on the left side pan. Click on the Interface drop down menu and select "disabled".
Step 5: Click Apply button to save settings.
Note: If your router is Dual Band, you need to disable both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz wireless bands. Make sure that you are connected to a Plume wired or wireless Wi-Fi network before turning off legacy Wi-Fi.
